ASHTABULA — Edna Mae Sposito was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 12, 1943, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Stanley and Minnie (Hutter) Wilfong and had been a lifetime resident. She married the love of her life, Jeffery G. Sposito on August 31, 1986.
Edna was employed by Sposito-St Angelo Insurance Agency in Ashtabula as the office manager for 20 years. She was most recently employed in the fiscal department at Ashtabula County Job & Family Services for the past 10 years, retiring in 2009.
Edna touched the lives of many people with her kind and compassionate ways. She loved to “surf the net” and play computer games. She also enjoyed home decorating and was a movie buff. Edna cared deeply for animals and loved her furry companions, “Max and Mindy.”
Edna will forever be remembered by her devoted husband, loving daughter, cherished grandson and dear brother as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Jeffery G. Sposito; her daughter, Lori L. (Wilfong) Chapin; her grandson, Cecil J. (CJ) Chapin; and her brother, Stanley R. Wilfong Jr. of Panama City, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, August 4th, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, August 5th, at the Funeral Home, with Deacon Richard Johnson officiating.
