ASHTABULA — Nicholas J. Santill, age 63, of Ashtabula, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at home.
He was born May 20, 1949, in Ashtabula, the son of Alfred and Lois (Robinson) Santill. Nick attended Harbor High School.
He was the owner and operator of Nick’s on State Road. He was employed at General Electric in Jefferson and K-Mart in Ashtabula. His hobbies included boating and water skiing. He was a member of the E.A.C., Young Mens Social Club, Knights of Columbus 360, and was a former member and past president of Sons of Italy of America 1169.
Survivors include his daughter, Trennette (Felix) Castillo of Nev.; son, Nicholas Valentino Santill of Geneva; grandchildren, Alexander Loughborough and Emiemelia Castillo; and brother, Joe Santill of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David Bloom.
Memorial Service will be held 12 Noon, Sat. Feb. 2nd, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula, with the Rev. Fr. Raymond Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of Service at Noon, Saturday, at the Funeral Home.
