ASHTABULA — Mary V. (Javorich) Golic, age 91, of Conneaut, Ohio, died Monday morning, Jan. 28, 2013, at Ashtabula County Medical Center in Ashtabula, Ohio.
Born Feb. 28, 1921, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Mary (Antos) Javorich.
Mary was a self-employed beautician with a shop in her home. She also taught tap dance at one time.
Mary loved to travel and shop, and enjoyed cooking, baking, playing pinochle and bowling. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce (John) Anderson of Conneaut; a sister, Rose Bryant of Conneaut; a brother, Ed Javorich of Conneaut; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Stanley Rakowski in 1965; her second husband, William Golic in 1994; her son, Lee Rakowski; her daughter, Patricia Passerella; and two brothers, Frank and William Javorich.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 2nd, in Glenwood Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Noon, at the MARCY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, which has charge of arrangements.
