SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP —
Faye J. Olin, age 82, of Saybrook Township, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born Sept. 1, 1931, in Confluence, Pa., to Lewis and Anna L. (Zimmerman) Ringler.
She worked at Saybrook True Temper, retiring in 1988. She was a life member of V.F.W. National Home and Army-Navy Union; member of the Ashtabula American Legion, the V.F.W. Ladies Aux. and the Blue Star Mothers; and was Past President of District #7 V.F.W.
She loved being with her grandkids, was a "Channel 8 News Watcher"; enjoyed baking, cooking, traveling and needlework and a "Scooby-Doo" fan.
Survivors include her children, Bruce Colflesh of Ashtabula, Kathy Davies of Conneaut, George (Barbara) Burgard of Ashtabula and Chuck (Raejean) Burgard of Madison; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Herbert Ringler of Ashtabula; and a sister, Alverda McClintock of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, whom she had married in Ashtabula on Dec. 6, 1980; daughter, Joanna Colflesh; two grandsons, Bruce and Michael Colflesh; and brothers, Floyd and Raymond Ringler.
Calling Hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 29th, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.
Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, April 30th, at the Funeral Home. Interment at Saybrook Cemetery.
