RALEIGH, N.C. —
Ann Marie Monda Flynn, age 86, formerly of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away peacefully Monday, June 9, 2014, at Tower Nursing and Rehab.
She was born June 25, 1927, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Pasquale and Thomasina (Caboss) Monda and had been an Ashtabula resident her entire life before moving to North Carolina.
Before her retirement, she worked for Sears Corporation in the Administrative Offices as a sales consultant assisting customers with their equipment service contracts. She also enjoyed reading, taking walks and dancing.
Her survivors include four daughters, Cindy (David) Pajak and Nancy (John) Baringer, both of North Carolina, Annetta (Scott) Talkington of Ashtabula and Kelly Flynn of Eastlake; one son, Edward Flynn of Wickliffe; and six grandchildren, Kyle, William, Jeremy, Jessica, Gina and Kiley; and one great-grandchild, Jillian.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert F. Sr., Anthony J., Joseph F. and Carmen D. Monda; three sisters, Antoinette Reed, Susan Whitney, and Florence Langton; and her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Monday, June 16th, at Our Lady of Peace Parish/St. Joseph Church, 3312 Lake Ave., Ashtabula. The Rev. Fr. Ernesto Rodriguez will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, June 15th, from 3 to 5 p.m. at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula.
