ASHTABULA — Mrs. Janet D. Geiser, age 74, of Ashtabula, Ohio, died Sunday afternoon, May 19, 2013, at UH Conneaut Medical Center in Conneaut, Ohio.
She was born July 28, 1938, in Rinard Mills, Ohio, the daughter of Glen and Thelma (Ring) Cline.
An area resident since 1978, Mrs. Geiser was a member of the South Ridge Church of Christ of Madison, and enjoyed cooking, sewing, crossword puzzles and watching old movies.
Survivors include her mother of New Philadelphia, Ohio; her husband, Mr. Charles E. Geiser of Ashtabula, whom she married April 16, 1965; two sons, Mark (Sue) Geiser of Conneaut, Ohio and John (Sandra) Geiser of North Kingsville, Ohio; her daughter, Sarah Tersigni of Fairview, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Adam, Rachel, Jordan, Jake, Sydney, Samantha and Justin; great-granddaughter, Alizabeth; two brothers, Paul and Dale Cline; a sister, Linda (Richard) Brown; and nieces, nephews and more distant relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Cline.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 25th, at MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Mr. Terry Siverd, of Cortland Church of Christ, officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the Service.
