CLEVELAND — Merrill L. “Roy” McGranor, age 75, of North Kingsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 7, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born August 17, 1938, in DuBois, Pa., the son of John and Martha (Fuller) McGranor.
Merrill worked for over 30 years at Erie Forge and Steel. Merrill enjoyed hunting with his family every year and faithfully attending his granddaughters sporting events. He enjoyed life! He was loved by anyone that got to know him and never had an unkind word to say about anything.
Merrill in preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Ken, Russ, John and Robert; and a sister, Betty.
Merrill leaves behind his wife, Mary McGranor; children, Kimberly Fiesler, Sam and Kathy Cincotta, Ed and Lucy Dragon, Brenda Thorson and Gerri Cunha; his grandchildren who loved him dearly, Jordan Corey, Meghan Cunha, Jim Varketta and Charles Butler. He is also survived by his siblings, Paul and Ella McGranor, Glenn and Diane McGranor, Harry and Addie McGranor, Jim and Pat McGranor, Howard and Germaine McGranor and Tom and Denise McGranor.
At Merrill’s request, there will not be any funeral services or memorial services.
