CONNEAUT — John A. Ensell, of W. Main Road, Conneaut, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at his home surrounded by family.
John was born Dec. 8, 1943, in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Robert and Mary Jean (Thompson) Ensell. He lived in North Kingsville before moving to Conneaut where he had resided the past 43 years. Mr. Ensell was a United States Army Veteran, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam Era.
He was employed as a truck driver for 43 years. John enjoyed watching Cleveland sports and his grandson, James’ sporting events. He also enjoyed working in his yard. John was a member of The Federated Church in East Springfield.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Rose (Kubichek) Ensell; daughter, Jennifer (James) Kulko of Ashtabula; grandsons, James and Jordan; and brothers, Bradley Ensell and William Ensell.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Ensell.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 3rd, at The Federated Church, 11995 Main St., East Springfield, Pa., with the Rev. Dr. Edward Huntley officiating. Family will receive friends at the Church on Friday, from 12 Noon until time of Services at 1 p.m. Inurnment at Gageville Cemetery will take place a later date.
