GENEVA — Jessie A. Larko, age 90, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at Austinburg Rehabilitation Center.
Born August 1, 1918, in Columbiana, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Neal and Edith Card. On Sept. 17, 1938, she married Joseph V. Larko in Erie County, Pa.
A homemaker, Jessie enjoyed woodcarving, loved birds, cooking and flower gardening.
She was a member of Assumption Church in Geneva.
Survivors include two daughters, Victoria Ferguson of Charleston, S.C., and Marian Peters of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, David Larko of Austinburg; seven grandchildren, John Ferguson of Chardon, Lori Ferguson and Amy Reeves, both of South Carolina, Pam (Rich) Moravitz of Madison, Jean (Wayne) Prospt of North Carolina, Steve (Beverly) Peters of Tennessee, and Chris (Tim) Westfall of North Carolina; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006; two sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at Assumption Church, 594 West Main St., Geneva, with Father Melvin Rusnak as celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.
Calling Hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8th, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, Ohio.
