Fenner, age 69, a resident of Ashtabula Twp., passed away early Tuesday morning, Aug. 26, 2008, surrounded by his wife and children, at the Geneva Village. Dan C. Fenner, age 69, a resident of Ashtabula Twp., passed away early Tuesday morning, Aug. 26, 2008, surrounded by his wife and children, at the Geneva Village.
Born April 5, 1939, in Ashtabula, he was the son of Clifford and Elnora (Housel) Fenner. Mr. Fenner served in the United States Navy, and retired from Oxidental Chemical after 32 years of service. Dan was very active in the Buckeye Music Boosters, was a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, and was also a member of the American Legion. Dan is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rose Marie (Merlene) of Ashtabula; he was the loving father of three children, Justine M. Louden of Ashtabula, Dan (Mary Beth) Fenner of Utica, Pa., and Jerald Fenner of Edinboro, Pa.; five grandchildren, Bryant Louden, Cassandra Louden, and Adam, Seth, and Joy Fenner; brothers, Curtis Fenner of Ashtabula, Ronald Fenner of Hartsville, S. C., and Clifford Fenner of Geneva; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 29th, in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula, Ohio.
