ASHTABULA — Edward James Fusco, age 62, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Cleveland Clinic.
Born March 29, 1946, in Youngstown, he was the son of Joseph and Betty (McCreary) Fusco, and had been an Ashtabula resident for over 20 years.
A Proud Veteran, Mr. Fusco serviced in the United States Marine Corps. Prior to taking an early retirement, he worked for General Motors in Lordstown since 1970.
A relatively private person, he was an excellent bowler and had bowled several “300” games. He also enjoyed 50’s music, and Reba McEntire.
Survivors include five children, Edward Fusco, Jr. and Eric Fusco of Youngstown, Jon Fusco of Las Vegas, Nev., and Vincent and Sara Fusco of Ashtabula; four grandchildren, Taylor, Lillian, and Conner Royal, and Vince Fusco; eight brothers, Gary, Chester, and Keith Fusco, all of Ashtabula, and Scott, Rob, Chris, Frank, and Dale Fusco, all of Youngstown; two step-brothers, Richard Henry of New Mexico, and Robert Henry of Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Fusco; two brothers, Jack and Chuck Fusco; his step-father, Robert E. Henry; and his parents.
A Service will be held 7 p.m., Monday, July 28, at the ZABACK-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula. The Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God will officiate.
Calling hours are 6 to 7 p.m., on Monday, at the Funeral Home.
