— MENTOR — Jean A. Kalain (née: Miller), age 76, formerly of Willoughby Hills, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
Born Dec. 25, 1932, in Conneaut, Ohio, she has been a resident of Mentor the last two years and a former resident of Willoughby Hills.
She was very proud of her work with the Willoughby Hills Recreation Commission. She loved running movies for the children, coaching girls softball teams, teen town dances and keeping score at her son’s baseball games.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Kalain and Terry (Sue) Kalain; a granddaughter, Teri Kalain; her twin sister, Joan Bishop, and sister, Pat (Jerry) Gee; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Kalain.
