— WARREN — Jo Ann “Gypsi” Liptak-Kapis, age 53, formerly of Pierpont, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at her home in Warren, Ohio.
She was born April 20, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Steve and Goldie Jean (Samko) Liptak and was the youngest of three.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband, Tom Kapis; son, Christ Steimle IV; daughter, Robin Marie (Lupe) Sabala; three grandchildren, Alicesa, Amanda and Shyla; and one sister, Teresa (Ron) Sasala.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved son, Rocky Steimle Hudspath; a brother, Jack; and a sister, Judy.
Calling Hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Today, July 3rd, at the CHILDS & WILLIAMS FAMILY HOME, 96 St. Rt. 7, Pierpont, Ohio.
In keeping with Jo Ann’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. She will be cremated with a private service at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kapis family in her memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. You will be missed..........Until we meet again.
