PAINESVILLE — William E. Ash, 87, of Leroy, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Lake East Hospital.
He was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, Ohio. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery, Leroy.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
