YOUNGSTOWN — Anthony Edward Leonelli Jr., age 60, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at his residence.
Born Sept. 28, 1948, in Youngstown, he was the son of the late Anthony Edward Leonelli Sr. and the late Anna Elizabeth (Katouche) Leonelli. He was a 1966 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and graduated from Y.S.U. in 1970 with a bachelor degree in History.
He was employed as a Social Studies Teacher and also served as the Dept. Chair at Lakeside High School in Ashtabula.
Survivors include his brother, Nick and his wife, Judith, Leonelli of Mendon, Mass.; a nephew, Anthony Leonelli; a niece, Annalise Leonelli; and dear friend, Inge Torok.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27th, at the FABRIZIO FUNERAL HOME, 619 E. Indianola Ave., Youngstown, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to: Lakeside High School, in care of the Social Studies Dept., 660 Sanborn Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 44084.
