— CONCORD Twp. — Valerie Ann Robinson-Vernick, age 56, a resident of Concord Twp., and a former resident of Ashtabula, died on Monday afternoon, May 5, 2008, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 8, 1951, in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Valire and Elizabeth (Popson) Robinson. On Oct. 25 1975, she was married in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, to Dale Vernick.
Valerie graduated form Harbor High School Class of 1969, and Kent State University Nursing Program, and formerly worked as an RN at Ashtabula County Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Vernick of Concord Twp.; and sister, Sherrie Robinson-Sardella.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Fred Robinson
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, May 10, in Our lady of Mount Carmel Church, with entombment to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 West 19 St. in Ashtabula, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.
