ASHTABULA — Hazel I. Imrie, age 89, of Park St., Ashtabula, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at the Park Haven Nursing Home in Ashtabula.
She was born April 14, 1919, in Hartsgrove, Ohio, the daughter of George S. and Bertha Rowena (Logan) Harshman and has been a lifetime area resident.
A graduate of Ashtabula High School, she had been a nurses’ aide at Ashtabula General Hospital, retiring in 1989.
She enjoyed camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving her are two sons, Roger (Cheryl) Imrie of Ashtabula and James R. (Angie) Imrie of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Linda (Tom) Hackworth of North Canton, Ohio, and Barbara Imrie of Georgetown, Tex.; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lyle Harshman of Warren, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Jeremy and Jody Imrie; and her brothers and sisters, Bernice, Pearl, Myrtle, May, Bert and Marion.
A Graveside Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Windsor Cemetery in Windsor Township.
