ASHTABULA — Ashtabula police are looking for tips to locate a man wanted for allegedly providing heroin that resulted in a fatal overdose.
Harry Lee Story, 66, of Ashtabula is wanted on charges of involuntary manslaughter and trafficking in heroin as a result of the fatal overdose of Jeremy S. Pierce, according to press release from the Ashtabula Police Department.
Pierce, 22, of Ashtabula, died Sept. 4 at 325 W. 48th St., according to police.
Police investigators said they believe Story was the source of the heroin.
A search warrant on Story’s residence on Sept. 5, corroborated Story’s involvement in Pierce’s death, police said.
Story has fled his home and is believed to be hiding out in the area.
