LEBANON — A new racino set to open in December is holding more job fairs in southwest Ohio.

The Miami Valley Gaming & Racing racino says it has hired nearly 300 people but wants to hire nearly 300 more.

It has scheduled seven September job fairs in southwest Ohio. Three are at the Lebanon Raceway, and there is a Sept. 24 job fair at the Dayton Convention Center.

Jobs range from maintenance, to food and beverage service, to finance and information technology.

The $175 million project includes a harness racing track and facility with slots-like gaming near Interstate 75 in Warren County.
