- WAHOO FOR THE WARRIORS!
Efficient Eagles empowered
Sometimes, the best way to describe a basketball team is efficient. That description certainly fits the Geneva girls in their 60-29 victory over Lakeside on Wednesday at Geneva.
Tall timber too tough
In remaining undefeated on the young season, the Edgewood girls showed two forces on Wednesday that they hope will join together for the rest of the season to make their inside game a very strong one.

Kalil comes through
When Jefferson center David Chase hit a running hook shot across the lane with 6.8 seconds left to give his Falcons a 54-52 lead over the Edgewood Warriors at Falcon Gymnasium on Tuesday, the home crowd erupted in celebration for what appeared to be a win.
Chairmen of the board
A basketball coach will often say rebounding is about positioning and effort. To that end, Lakeside beat Riverside, 81-72, Tuesday night at Lakeside Gymnasium, with effort.
Droughts do in Conneaut
Droughts are usually considered to be bad things. In basketball, they can spell the difference between winning and losing.
Geneva clipped at US
The University School boys came in like a wrecking ball on Tuesday night.
The Preppers used a fast start, and after a 19-point run, held a 23-2 advantage. They went on to an 83-52 win over visiting Geneva in Premier Athletic Conference action.
