PAINESVILLE TOWNSHIP —
Riverside’s Nick Boggs (138 pounds), Connor Rigsby (182) and Chad Ely (195) claimed championships at the Riverside Rumble on Saturday at Community Fieldhouse for the Beavers.
West Branch claimed the team title with 326 points. Geneva was third with 295.5, Riverside was fourth with 277.
Tyler Cross (152), Juan Rodriguez (170), Jason Huelskamp (195) all placed second for the Eagles. Will Distler (106) and Matt Kozlowski each took third while Connor Requa (113) was fourth. James Hawk (220) placed fifth and Brandon Pasko (120) and Brad McGirr (126) were sixth.
Jake Militello (220) was second for the Beavers, Jesus Pacheco (120) was fourth, Zach Van Pelt (126) was fifth and Mike Person (145) was sixth.
Edgewood took 10th behind Jarrod Elrod’s runner-up finish at 182 and Tanner Perry’s third-place finish at 113. Nick Camp was fifth at heavyweight and Jeroen Ellis (138) took home a sixth place finish.
Jefferson was 12th behind a third-place finish from Joey Baitt at 132 and a fourth-place from Zach Collins (160). Bryce Cox (106) was seventh and Logan Platt (138) was eighth.

Mitch Skleres placed second at 113 to lead Pymatuning Valley to an eighth-place finish at the Dean Ford Invitational at Barnesville High School on Saturday.
Skleres scored pins in his first three matches before being pinned himself in the championship match.
Cody Miller (138) and Shawn Shreves (heavyweight) both placed fourth.
Miller fell, 7-4, in the match for third place while Shreves was beaten by one, 3-2.
Next up for the Lakers is a tri-match with Grand Valley at Jefferson on Wednesday.
