Three different players scored to lead Harvey to a 3-0 win over Lakeside. Jose Vazquez scored on an Israel Macias assist in the first half, while Oscar Preza and Leonardo Fuentes tallied in the second half for the Red Raiders. Juan Pacheco had eight saves for Harvey. Patrick Pildner had 20 saves for Lakeside (1-3).
Girls golf
All four scorers for Geneva finished ahead of SS. John and Paul’s second golfer to give the Eagles a 220-252 victory. Lindsay Adams led Geneva (7-3) with a 52, while Nicole Lara and Chelsea Maukonen each had a 55 and Alissa Wortman shot a 58. Nicole Gallo led SJP (2-11) with a 56, while Ciara Johnson shot a 63.
n Conneaut 212, PV 236 — The Spartans’ first three golfers finished ahead of or equaled the Lakers’ first scorer. Kelsey Weske shot a 46 for Conneaut (4-5), while Nina Dello had a 54 and Laina Iarocci a 55. Danna Hayford led PV (3-9) with a 55.
n South 183, Shaker Heights 217, Jefferson 219 — Despite a 39 from Shelly Ford, the Falcons finished third in the triangular meet. Breanne Bodisch added a 57 for Jefferson (8-4). Caitlin Kempton shot a one-under-par 35 over the par-36 front nine at Manakiki for Shaker Heights. Lisa Barber led South with a 42.
n Perry 217, Aurora 221 — A 44 by Ashley Rideout led the Pirates to a CVC Chagrin victory over the Greenmen. Emily Blaha added a 56 for Perry (4-1, 1-1).
Boys golf
Strong rounds from first and second scorers Adam Lane and Jon York helped Pymatuning Valley remained undefeated in Northeastern Athletic Conference action, 189-196. Lane shot a 42 and York had a 46. Frank Boggs had a 50 and Mac Thurber a 51 to back them up for PV (9-2, 7-0). Robbie Ensign led Lordstown (5-9, 1-5) with a 44.
Boys cross country
Although it did not field a full team, Austin Drenski led Grand Valley with a third-place finish in 19:43. Fairport’s Dylan Knight was the overall winner in 19:24. Newbury was the team winner with 37 points.
