Mighty Mick Zigmund mashed a gamewinning homer in the bottom of the seventh to catapult the CBC Construction Legends to a thrilling 11-10 triumph over Shannon Fence in the Lake County Over-50 Softball League.
Zigmund (2 hits), Chuck Goerndt (2 hits, 3 RBI, homer), Mike Mauro (2 hits, homer) and Chris Toreki (3 hits, 2 runs) led the way at the plate for the Legends.
Mark Vidmar (3 hits, 2 runs), Jim Davidson (2 hits) and Dan Minjares (2 hits, 2 runs) paced Shannon Fence.
