Melanie March ripped a triple to lead Jefferson Lanes past Spring Team, 18-11, in Jefferson Area Girls Softball Major Division playoff action Tuesday, while Molly Robinson and Alley Fogarty each had doubles. Jackie Picscalko had a triple for Spring Team and Laura Cole hit a double, while Rachel Moyer had two hits.

- GENEVA A'S 10, GENEVA RED SOX 9 - Erica Jackson and Sierra Levak combined to strike out 11 batters to lead the A's, while Kayla Kamppi and Hannah Spaulding each drove in runs. Kylee Caplyn and Nicole Grimmett each drove in runs for the Red Sox.

- PENCO 11, JEFFERSON LANES 4 - Miranda Grech, Amanda Zalar and Brianna Zalar each had three hits to lead Penco, while Kailey Reinke had two hits, including a double, and Justine Esquivel added two hits and Summer Pacholke scored two runs. Melanie March had three hits for Jefferson Lanes and Paige Robinson added two hits.

Minor SB

Cassidy Mollick and Ashten Noce combined to strike out 10 batters in four innnings to lead the Ashtabula Reds past the Conneaut Orioles, 14-4.

- UNION INDUSTRIAL WHITE SOX 25, AG EDWARDS RED SOX 14 - Brianna Gaynor led the White Sox with five hits and three RBI, while Jamie Verno added four hits and drove in three runs. Mary Wessel had two hits including a triple to lead the Red Sox.

Minor BB

Matt Sidbeck and Patton Sidbeck each had three hits to lead the Braves past the Yankees 11-4. Antonio Acierno struck out five.

- ASHTABULA DODGERS 8, ASHTABULA REDS 7 - Keegan Vaught led the Dodgers with a triple, while Mason Lilja struck out 12 batters.

- CONNEAUT A'S 6, CONNEAUT ORIOLES 5 - Troy Colucci and Jacob Spees led the A's with two hits apiece.

Junior BB

Tyler Legere and Tyler Wawrowski each had two hits, including a double, to lead the Kingsville Reds past the Ashtabula Tigers, 13-10, while Steve Arsulic had two hits. Zach Mehalic had two hits, including a home run, to lead the Tigers.

Major BB

Jeff Imbrogno struck out 10 and ripped three hits to lead the Ashtabula Indians past the Ashtabula Angels, 4-0, while Mike Mahoney and Dwight Thompson each had two hits. Reagan Potts had three hits for the Angels.

- ASHTABULA RED SOX 13, ASHTABULA BRAVES 3 - Anthony Monda led the Red Sox with three hits, including two doubles and a triple, while Kyle Downs, Jared Parsons and Andrew Konczal each added two hits. Devin Dioneff led the Braves with three doubles while Savaughn Morgan and Caleb Sidbeck each had two hits.
