Harvey did its scoring in bunches Monday to claim an 11-5 victory over Conneaut in Northeastern Conference action.
The Red Raiders (12-12, 5-6) scored four runs each in the first and third and tacked on three in the fourth for the win in support of Mick Mohner, C.J. Davis and Brian Rowan. Davis helped the cause at the plate with three hits, including a home run, drove in five runs and scored twice. Chris Fields also had three hits, including a double, and two runs scored, Mohner and Matt Betteley had two hits and two runs each and Josh Dickinson contributed two hits and two RBI.
Tyler Schaefer paced Conneaut (6-15, 1-11) with three hits and two runs. Cody Blood added two hits for the Spartans.
Premier
South (19-8, 8-1) remained in a tie for first place with Riverside with an 11-7 win over Lakeside. Nick Traikoff led Lakeside (3-19, 0-10) with three hits, including a home run and double, four RBI and two runs, while Max McConnell led Lakeside (3-19, 0-10) with three hits, Josh Shorts tripled and drove in three runs and Andy DeDomenic and Tyler Schlaich each scored twice.
