Baseball Roundup: Mustangs fall at Ursuline

— Ursuline’s Robert Switka was too much for Grand Valley to handle as he held them to just a hit by Zach Sirrine and was backed by a nine-hit attack for a 12-0 victory in a Division III sectional championship game ended in the fifth Wednesday.
Switka struck out nine Mustangs and walked none. Sirrine got the only hit off him with one out in the fifth for GV (8-16, 4-4 Chagrin Valley Conference Valley Division).
Mark Lapikas and Joe Wielbruda had two hits and three runs each for Ursuline (18-5), which Dan Bako and Shawn Roman each had two hits and two runs scored.
