French Chiropractic patients donate to receive improved health

Star Beacon

MADISON — Pastor Steve Fischer, Secretary of the Madison Christian Ministerial Association, was bitter-sweet in receiving the largest donation from French Chiropractic in the past 10 years for the food basket program. Pastor Fisher reported to the doctors that many of his colleagues had a hard time getting donations because of financial hardships this year. “Your patients really believe in what you do here and we couldn't do this without your help," Fisher said.

On Jan. 16 French Chiropractic & Wellness Center gave Pastor Fisher $4,000. Drs. French, Cradduck and Morosky treated more than 150 patients on Dec. 12; adjustments, therapy and rehabilitative procedures were performed in exchange for a donation. “This past year has been the most successful we've ever had. Our community really appreciates what we do and it certainly shows,” French said.

The Madison Christian Ministerial Association assembles all the canned goods and meat to produce a turkey or chicken Christmas dinner and delivers these baskets to Madison families in need. Many volunteers are needed to make the program as successful as possible.

To become a volunteer in 2013, contact Pastor Steve Fischer at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 428-2473 or write at P.O. Box 574 Madison, Ohio 44057. French Chiropractic & Wellness Center can be reached at 428-1755.
