WWII event comes to Walnut Beach

ASHTABULA — A World War II living history encampment event will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Walnut Beach Park.

The event, a celebration of freedom and a time to salute all veterans, is free and open to the public.

The re-enactors from Conneaut’s D-Day will be there for a meet-and-greet, as well as an opportunity to peruse military displays.

Walnut Beach Park is at Walnut Boulevard and Lake Avenue.
