WINDSOR TOWNSHIP — The Windsor Community Market will celebrate Vendor Appreciation Day at the last market for the 2013 season.

The market will be held Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Windsor Community Center. The community center is located just west of the intersection of Route 534 and Route 322 in Windsor and is the setting for a lively venue hosting both indoor and outdoor vendors.

The gym is filled with a variety of vendors including home-based businesses, housewares, scrapbooking supplies, vintage glassware, crafts and rummage. Table are waiting for patrons to enjoy coffee and baked goods or lunch provided by the United Methodist Women.

Outdoor vendors feature fresh Amish produce from Windsor farms, surrounded by toys antiques, tools, flowers, soaps and lotions, clothing and resale. The Hartsgrove Volunteer Fire Department Cadets offer breakfast sandwiches and ice cream. Live music was added in July by Harmon Gladding.

The Windsor United Methodist Church sponsors the Community Market and provides children’s games for 25 cents. Abby Ricer will be located nearby to offer face painting so a fun, family time for everyone is planned.

Vendor Appreciation Day offers past vendors a half price space for the August market. Indoor spaces are sold out; however, outdoor vendors do not need to pre-register and are awarded space on a first come first served basis on the day of the sale. Vendor set up begins at 7:30 a.m.
