ASHTABULA COUNTY GRAND JURY INDICTMENTS

JEFFERSON — EDITOR’S Note: The indictment of a person by a grand jury or otherwise is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. All information is taken from Ashtabula County Common Pleas Court records.

The following people have been indicted by an Ashtabula County Grand Jury and are set for arraignment in Common Pleas Court.

• Paul W. Hill, 46, of 5623 South Ridge Road E., Ashtabula, was indicted on two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a June 23 incident in Ashtabula. The grand jurors further specified, the defendant pled to or was convicted of five or more equivalent offenses within 20 years.

• Joshua L. Eaton, 27, of 1285 Lake Road, Conneaut, was indicted on one count of possession of heroin following an Aug. 6 incident in Conneaut.

• Nicholas W. Auxier, 29, (no listed address), was indicted on one count of breaking and entering and one count of vandalism following an Aug. 20 incident in Ashtabula.

• Eric N. Hatfield, 33, of 2229 Cardinal Drive, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of breaking and entering, one count of vandalism and one count of aggravated possession of drugs following an Aug. 20 incident in Ashtabula.

• Deangelo L. Foy, 26, of 16001 Accode Ave. Downstairs, Cleveland, was indicted on one count of trafficking in marijuana and one count of possessing criminal tools following a Feb. 1 incident in Geneva-on-the-Lake.

• Jean Elizabeth Davis, 43, of 5606 Dunbar Ave., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property following a June 8 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Shannon L. Wooten, 29, of 1738 Pamona Drive, Geneva, was indicted on one count of breaking and entering, one count of grand theft and one count of receiving stolen property following an Aug. 23 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Floyd Wooten IV, 33, of 5875 Woodman Ave. #21, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property following an Aug. 23 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Forest T. Hensel, 33, of 5975 Woodman Ave. #21, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property following an Aug. 23 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Julio M. Torres, 30, of 5107 Hope Ave., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property following an Aug. 23 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Jesse A. Campbell, 27, of 1403 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, was indicted on two counts of burglary, two counts of complicity to burglary and two counts of receiving stolen property following an Aug. 27 incident in Harpersfield Township.

• David Jordan, 21, of 5005 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, was indicted on two counts of burglary, one count of theft and one count of petty theft following an Aug. 27 incident in Harpersfield Township.

• Jacob Garbo, 40, of 445 W. Beech St. #17, Jefferson, was indicted on one count of obstructing justice following an Aug. 27 incident in Harpersfield Township.

• Patricia L. Torres, 28, of 5107 Hope Ave., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property following an Aug. 23 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Donna Wooten, 53, of 5875 Woodman Ave. #21, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property and one count of tampering with evidence following an Aug. 23 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Allen J. Tantari, Jr., 43, of 483 South Parrish Dr., Conneaut, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs following an Aug. 29 incident in Conneaut.

• Carl Testerman, Jr., 23, of 3837 Woodside Dr., Geneva, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs, one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, one count of possession of heroin and one count of trafficking in heroin following a Sept. 3 incident in Harpersfield Township.

• Brandon Arnold, 21, of 6853 N. Clubside Dr., Andover, was indicted on one count of grand theft of motor vehicle following an Aug. 19 incident in Andover Township.

• Tracy Trent, Jr., 24, of 5650 Woodman Ave. #60, Ashtabula, was indicted on two counts of receiving stolen property, one count of having weapons while under disability, one count of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs following incidents on Sept. 1 and Sept. 10 in Ashtabula. The grand jurors further specified the defendant had a firearm on or about his person at the time of the incident and specified forfeiture of $872 in U.S. currency.

• James Gabriel Rea, 34, 5281 Caine Road, Pierpont, was indicted on one count of trafficking in marijuana, one count of trafficking in marijuana with forfeiture specification including $5,646 in U.S. currency and a number of firearms, and one count of possession of marijuana with the forfeiture specification following a Sept. 12 incident in Pierpont.

• Jerico R. Laferty, 20, of 3703 Lake Ave. #304, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of possession of cocaine following an Aug. 25 incident in Ashtabula.

• Shawn M. Hadlock, 39, of 927 E. 23rd St., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs following a Sept. 18 incident in Ashtabula.

• John Michael Gushea, 45, 3651 Austin Road #9, Geneva, was indicted on one count of carrying concealed weapons and two counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs following a Sept. 16 incident in Geneva Township.

• Michelle L. Schultz, 46, 3107 S. Meyers Lot 41, Geneva, was indicted on one count of breaking and entering following a Sept. 8 incident in Geneva.

• Lawrence K. Abrams, 47, 416 W. 57th St., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs and two counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs following incidents on Sept. 18, March 22 and Oct. 10 in Ashtabula.

• Laura F. Whitaker, 37, of 5106 N. Woodman Ave., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs following a Sept. 18 incident in Ashtabula.

• Bradley J. Pallaise, 49, of 3013 Lake Ave. downstairs, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of passing bad checks following an April 18 incident in Ashtabula Township.

  • Madison man dies in motorcycle crash

    The Ohio State Highway Patrol Chardon Post is investigating a fatal accident between a car and a motorcycle that collided Saturday morning.
    Lee E. Mullins, 57, of Madison was traveling southbound on State Route 528, on a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle, approaching the intersection of St. Rt. 86, when a 2008 Ford Taurus driven by 36-year-old Kimberly J. Baney of Wampum, Pa. failed to yield at the stop sign entering the intersection.
