Naz-Car Cruise-In organizers looking forward to 2014 event

ASHTABULA — About 500 people attended the 7th Annual “Naz-Car” Cruise-In Sept. 7 at Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene.

Despite a sprinkle of rain, most of the 140 or so vehicle owners toughed it out. Eighteen trophies were awarded for the people’s choice favorites in each car, truck, or motorcycle category.

Many children and visitors attended for a great day of community fellowship, fun, food, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Local singer, Sherry Cornell, gave a great performance both at the show and during the Sunday morning worship service.

The people and ministries of First Church of the Nazarene made a lot of new and re-newed connections with those folks who came out for the annual event. Local ministries and the Work & Witness trip to Jamaica received overwhelming support from the generous crowd.

Organizers Matt and Robin McKee said they look forward to the 8th annual cruise-in, slated for Saturday Sept. 6, 2014.
