A 24-hour “Spinning Against Hunger” fund-raising event will be held Friday and Saturday at the Ashtabula Dream Center.
The Rev. Duane E. Ball invites the community to be part of this event, to have the bicycle spinning for 24 hours and raise $7,200 to help fight hunger in the city.
He will ride his bike for as long as he can, and he’s asking residents to help by pledging $300 for an hour of cycling time.
Ball also needs to help spin to complete the 24 hours. There will be three bikes available at the Dream Center, 604 W. 57th St., so call and register today at 998-3732.
