Shooting suspect sought

— The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, in conjunction with the Ashtabula Police Department, is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Terrell Jones.

Ashtabula police issued a warrant for Jones on Oct. 1, charging him with felonious assault in connection with a shooting, and they recently requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals in apprehending him.

 “The capture of Jones is a priority for the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force”, said Deputy U.S. Marshal Bill Boldin.  The task force recently expanded its operations and opened a new office that will focus its efforts in Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties.

Jones, 19, is black, about 5 feet, 9 inches and weighs 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Jones is believed to be hiding somewhere in the Ashtabula area.
