Beatitude House receives $3,300 grant

ASHTABULA — Beatitude House received a $3,300 grant from the Diocese of Ohio Episcopal Community Services to support the general operating expenses at A House of Blessing in Ashtabula.

A House of Blessing provides homeless women and children a place to live while they work to gain stability and achieve permanent housing. During their stay, women focus on furthering their education, gaining employment and overcoming obstacles through counseling and supportive services. Currently, all 10 apartments at A House of Blessing in Ashtabula are filled.

“The support we receive from Episcopal Community Services enables us to continue to provide the families in our care with the support services they need to make positive changes in their lives,” said Sarah Masek, housing director at Beatitude House.

Episcopal Community Services encourage collaborative community initiatives with active Episcopal involvement that serve the needs of the community.

Beatitude House is committed to serving all disadvantaged women and children. By creating homes, providing educational opportunities and fostering healthy families, they provide women and children with the opportunity to transform their lives.
