27 indicted by Ashtabula County Grand Jury

 EDITOR’S Note: The indictment of a person by a grand jury or otherwise is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. All information is taken from Ashtabula County Common Pleas Court records.

JEFFERSON —The following people have been indicted by an Ashtabula County Grand Jury and are set for arraignment in Common Pleas Court.

• Shawn L. Elliott, 40, of 436 Sandusky St., Conneaut, and Donald B. Hunchuck, 35, of 436 Sandusky St., Conneaut, were indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs following incidents on Feb. 7 in Conneaut.

• William R. Burdine, 41, of 705 Harbor St., Conneaut was indicted on two counts of aggravated possession of drugs following a March 14 incident in Conneaut.

• Floyd A. Carroll, 45, of 6507 Fassett St., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of intimidation of attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case following a March 11 incident in Ashtabula.

• Richard C. Carlo, Jr., 43, of 7435 Center Road, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of vandalism, one count of assault, one count of aggravated menacing, and two counts of felonious assault following a March 23 incident in Saybrook Township.

• Lawrence G. Cooper, 29, of 820 W. 38th St., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of tresspass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present and one count of possession of cocaine following an April 9 incident in Ashtabula.

• Michelle D. Stetz, 33, of 7731 Noble Road, Windsor Township, was indicted on two counts of felonious assault  following March 29 incidents in Windsor.

• Charles F. Giganti, 27, of 749 Main St., Conneaut, was indicted on two counts of theft, one count of forgery, and one count of misuse of credit cards following incidents in March and April in Conneaut.

• Tyler Neal Furmage, 20, of 4373 Route 84, Kingsville, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs following April 18 incidents in Conneaut.

• Joseph Stern, 32, of 781 Harbor St. #8, Conneaut, was indicted on one count of theft following a Feb. 11 incident in Conneaut.

• Jerel D. Milton aka Jerel Thompson, 23, of 1931 E. Prospect Road lot 121, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of felonious assault and one count of having weapons while under disability following an April 18 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Chelsea C. McDonald, 22, of North Kingsville, was indicted on one count of possession of heroin following a March 17 incident in Ashtabula.

• Thomas D. Million, 44, of 3789 Center Road, Conneaut, was indicted on one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, one count of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of possession of drugs following a March 30 incident in North Kingsville.

• Jared Steen, 27, of 7998 Creek Road, Williamsfield Township, was indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs, one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of aggravated possession of drugs following an April 11 incident in Andover.

• Courtney Smith, 20, of 781 Harbor St. #8, Conneaut, was indicted on one count of theft and one count of aggravated possession of drugs following April 19 in Conneaut.

• Daniel Sutherland, 39, of 212 Grant St., Geneva, was indicted on two counts of felonious assault and two counts of domestic violence following an April 25 incident in Geneva.

• Faith S. Rhodabarger, 23, of 1391 Perry Road, Jefferson, was indicted on two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, possession of heroin, aggravated trafficking in drugs and possessing criminal tools following May 2 incidents in Ashtabula Township.

• Mark A. Young, 27, of 5013 Leon Road, Andover, was indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs following a May 5 incident in Andover.

• Alexandria Beach, 19, of Andover, was indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs, one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of endangering children following a May 5 incident in Andover.

• Ruben Morales, 40, of 4507 West Ave., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of carrying concealed weapons, two counts of improper handling of firearm in a motor vehicle, one count of assault on police officer and one count of felonious assault following a May 2 incident in Saybrook.

• Mia Sexton, 25, of 2710 Route 7, Conneaut, was indicted on one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle following a May 16 incident in Conneaut.

• Lisa Alley, 28, of 5325 Lake Road #5, Geneva-on-the-Lake, was indicted on two counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal manufacture of drugs following several incidents from September 2012 through April 2013.

• Curtis A. Doll II, 35, of 812 Route 46 S., Jefferson, was indicted on four counts of illegal assembly of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs following several incidents from December 2012 through April 2013 in Jefferson Village.

• Shawna Kany, 21, 1012 Bridge St. Apt. B, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal manufacture of drugs following several incidents between December 2012 and March 2013 in Jefferson Village, Saybrook Township and Ashtabula Township.

• Daniel W. Light, 35, of 7262 Troutman Road, Orwell, was indicted on one count of failure to appear for a pretrial on Nov. 2, 2012 on felony drug charges and one count of failure to appear for sentencing on Dec. 11, 2012 on felony drug charges.

• Laura R. Otero, 38, of 558 Eastwood, Geneva, and Joseph A. Oroarke, 29, of 5676 Route 307, Geneva, were indicted on one count of complicity to theft.

  • Madison man dies in motorcycle crash

    The Ohio State Highway Patrol Chardon Post is investigating a fatal accident between a car and a motorcycle that collided Saturday morning.
    Lee E. Mullins, 57, of Madison was traveling southbound on State Route 528, on a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle, approaching the intersection of St. Rt. 86, when a 2008 Ford Taurus driven by 36-year-old Kimberly J. Baney of Wampum, Pa. failed to yield at the stop sign entering the intersection.
