A parade, football action and a dance will highlight Conneaut High School’s 2012 Homecoming festivities Friday night.
The Homecoming Court includes Angela Zappitelli, Mikhala Passmore, Jill Heinonen, Alyssa Andes, Megan Glass and Maria Perkio, The queen will be crowned in a 6:45 p.m. ceremony at the CHS football stadium at Maple and Stadium avenues.
A parade from the school to the stadium will precede the crowning. The procession will begin at 5:45 p.m. behind the school and travel to the football field via Chestnut Street, Route 20 and Stadium Avenue. Units scheduled to participate include the American Legion Cowle Post 151 color guard, equestrian Amanda Barnum in a Spartan costume, homecoming candidates aboard Mustang convertibles, the CHS Marching Band, cheerleaders, Wildfire Dance teams, Fourth of July pageant winners, CLYO ball players, Red Hat Ladies, representatives of the four CHS classes and mounted units.
The dance is 8-11 p.m. in the school cafeteria, and this year’s theme is “Masquerade.” The court will be presented around 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 and include a mask, hat and one photo strip from the photo booth. Extra strips are available for $1.
