The following people have been indicted by the Ashtabula County grand jury and are set for arraignment in Common Pleas Court.
Daniel L. Smith, 58, of 24 S. Eagle St., Geneva, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs stemming from an incident in Ashtabula involving .15 grams of crack cocaine.
Jerico R. Lafferty, 19, of 1355 Columbus Ave., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of trafficking in marijuana, with a forfeiture specification, and one count of possession of drugs (Xanan) following a March 10 incident in Ashtabula. The forfeiture finding involved $2,453 in cash.
Tanisha R. Corpening, 32, of 4026 Lake Road West, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of passing bad checks following a Feb. 7 incident in Saybrook Township involving more than $1,000.
Matthew J. Hersheberger, 26, of 5897 Route 322, Windsor Township, was indicted on two counts of possession of heroin following an incident May 26 in Hartsgrove Township involving 1.2 grams of the drug and another incident June 16 in Morgan Township involving less than one gram.
Christin M. Cooper, 28, of 53 S. Ridge Road, Conneaut, was indicted on one count of forgery following a May 11 incident in Conneaut and one count of theft following a May 8 incident involving a credit card.
Alexis Lou Newsome, 26, of 1102 Alfred Drive, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of robbery following an April 10 incident in Ashtabula.
Dustin A. Hill, 30, of 1857 Maple Drive, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of having weapons under a disability (a .22 caliber rifle) and one count of aggravated possession of drugs (.1 grams of methamphetamines) following a June incident in Plymouth Township.
Larry Gilliam Jr., 44, of 622 Parry St. Apt 2, Rome, was indicted on one count of having weapons under a disability (a pistol) following a June 27 incident in Harpersfield Township.
