ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP — Another store has left Ashtabula Towne Square.

Piercing Pagoda packed up and closed its kiosk Saturday, shoppers said.

The kiosk was located on the east side of the mall near the old Christopher &  Banks store.

Mall officials refused to comment on the store closing, but last week, David Torok, general manager of the mall told the Star Beacon he felt the Christmas shopping season had gone well.

Piercing Pagoda offers a variety of gold and silver jewelry styles, as well as pierced earrings.

The store’s closing follows Kitchen Collection, Christopher & Banks, Fashion Bug, Payless ShoeSource and Sears, which have all vacated the mall in the past 18 months.

In November, Hallmark announced it’s closing up shop.
