More snow is on its way as a winter storm watch has been issued for parts of northeast Ohio beginning New Year’s Day through Thursday morning.
It will be in effect for Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake and Trumbull counties.
Ashtabula County also is under a lake effect snow advisory from today until Wednesday morning with temperatures hovering in the lower 20s.
A stronger cold front will travel through the area early Thursday. Snow will develop New Year’s night into Thursday with some accumulation. The coldest temperatures are likely on Thursday and Friday.
