Grand jury indicts five

JEFFERSON — An Ashtabula man recently was indicted by the Ashtabula County grand jury, stemming from a series of incidents occurring between Dec. 1, 2008, an Jan. 13, 2009, court records show.

Matthew A. Annick, 25, of 3028 Avon Blvd., was indicted on two counts of theft and one count of forgery involving checks, which allegedly were stolen and written for $2,800, court records show.

In other actions, the grand jury indicted the

following area residents:

n Douglas K. Loudermilk, 34, of 823 Mill St., Conneaut, was indicted on one count of possession of drugs stemming from a June 1 incident in Conneaut allegedly involving illegal methamphetamines;

n William R. Stroud, 37, of 519 W. 38th St., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of domestic violence stemming from a July 9 incident in Ashtabula, court records show;

n Stephen L. Brown, 49, of 4935 S. Spencer Drive, Geneva, was indicted on one count of assault on a peace officer and two counts of harassment with bodily substances (spitting), stemming from a May 30 incident in Geneva, court records show; and

n Shannon D. Sexton, 39, of 919 W. 58th St., was indicted on one count of breaking and entering and one count of theft of more than $500 in property, stemming from an incident in Ashtabula on May 6, court records show.
