ASHTABULA — Residents and visitors can now enjoy the magical experience of Ashtabula County’s Lights on Lake from the comfort of a limo bus.

Tony Romano, owner of Tony’s Dog House, recently purchased a 28-seat luxury bus to provide guests with a memorable 45-minute-long journey through the historic Ashtabula  harbor and Lights on the Lake at Lake Shore Park.

“We are calling it, ‘The Dog House Express,’” Romano said. “We are going to have Christmas carols playing and we’ll have the bus decorated on the inside.”

The Dog House Express Lights on the Lake Tour embarks at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, through Dec. 30, with an extra run at 8:30 p.m. Saturdays. The bus will depart from Tony’s Dog House, 528 Lake Ave., and return to Tony’s.

All ages are welcome and admission is only $5 per person. The price includes entrance into Lights on the Lake, as well.

The drive-through light display along Lake Erie features a Wizard of Oz display, toys, elves, Santa, candy canes, a water falls, Christmas tree, poinsettias, dinosaurs, snowmen, a nativity scene and more.

“We will run the bus as long as there is business,” Romano said. “This is a beautiful bus, complete with individual captains chairs.”

Presale tickets can be purchased at Tony’s. For more information, call 440-964-0202.
