16 people indicted by county grand jury

JEFFERSON —  

The following people have been indicted by an Ashtabula County Grand Jury and are set for arraignment in Common Pleas Court.

n An Ashtabula man indicted on two counts of felonious assault and one count of tampering with evidence following a Labor Day shooting.

n Nicholas Hettmansperger, 29, of 247 Minnesota Ave., Ashtabula, was indicted after a shooting near Elm Avenue and Center Street in Ashtabula which injured an Ashtabula man.

n Patrick J. Toomey Jr., 49, of 5650 Woodman Ave., 78, was indicted on two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence with a specification, involving five prior convictions, after a May 28 incident in Plymouth Township.

n Vincent J. Calvin, 38, of 997 Wrights Ave., Conneaut, was indicted on one count of possession of cocaine, 1.1 grams, with a forfeiture specification involving $225.35 following an Aug. 18 incident in Conneaut.

n Corey Thomas, 38, of 5125 New London Road, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of possession of heroin, less than a gram, and one count of aggravated possession of drugs, methamphetamines, following an Aug. 4 incident in Conneaut.

n Gary D. Williams, 32, of 147 Bridge St., Conneaut, was indicted on two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and one count of deception to obtain dangerous drugs following March incidents in Conneaut involving Oxycodone.

n Nester Angulo, 47, of 175 Vine St., Geneva, was indicted on one count of trafficking in heroin, with a forfeiture specification of $495, one count of possession of heroine and possessing criminal tools following incidents occurring Aug. 23. 

n John Sabo, 42, of 782 Maple Ave., Conneaut, was indicted on one count of aggravated burglary and one count of theft of dangerous drugs (dilaudid) following a July 13 incident in Ashtabula.

n Joshua R. Redding, 7474 Tamkrist Trail, Conneaut, and Blaine Reed, 19, of 2156 S. Ridge Road, West, Ashtabula, were indicted on one count of theft and one count of misuse of a credit card following Aug.t 15 incidents in KIngsville Township and Ashtabula Township.

n Judd G. Campbell Jr., 20, of 4792 Crosby Cook Road, Rome Township, was indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs, one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and endangering children following an Aug. 29 incident in Orwell involving methamphetamines.

n Kole F. Long, 19, Conneaut, was indicted on one count of resisting arrest, one count of criminal trespass, one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of criminal tools following an Aug. 31 incident in Ashtabula.

n Melissa Mae Crouse, 31, of 5102 S. Ridge Road, Geneva, was indicted on two counts of burglary and one count of theft involving more than $1,000 following an Aug. 9 incident in Ashtabula Township.

n Ernest A. Ginelli, 21, of 122 Newell St., Painesville, was indicted on one count of having weapons under a disability, one count of tampering with evidence, one count of falsification and one count of improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle following an Aug. 1 incident in Ashtabula involving a 9 mm. pistol.

n Mark A. Young, 26, of 5013 Leon Road, Andover, and Christen Sonoski, 20, Rock Creek, were indicted on one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, aggravated possession of drugs (.2  grams of methamphetamines) and one count of complicity to the manufacture of drugs following an Aug. 16 incidents in Pierpont Township.

n Jonathan Scalise, 24, of 3925 N. Ridge E., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of aggravated robbery following an Aug. 30 incident involving a knife in Ashtabula Township.

n Judd W. Campbell, 44, of 5347 Crosby Cook Road, New Lyme, and Amanda M. Olsen, 37, of 503 E. Main St., Orwell, were indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs, one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, one count of aggravated possession of drugs (22.4 grams of methamphetamines) and one count of endangering children following Aug. 29 incidents in Orwell.

n Jeremy E. Smith, 26, of 6400 Route 86 Windsor, was indicted on one count of failure to appear after missing a court hearing in Jefferson on Sept. 10.
