Still time for public input on Main Ave. Streetscape Plan

ASHTABULA — There is still time for the public to view and weigh in on the proposed streetscape for Main Ave. The Ashtabula Downtown Development Association (ADDA) and the City of Ashtabula have retained the landscape architectural firm of McKnight Associates, Ltd., to design a streetscape for Main Avenue from South Park to Lance Corporal Kevin M. Cornelius Memorial Park.

The proposed streetscape plan, unveiled last Thursday, is still just a draft and can be seen at the City of Ashtabula and ADDA websites (www.cityofashtabula.com and www.downtownashtabula.com).

The ADDA, the City of Ashtabula, and McKnight Associates are looking for public input and comments through October 31st.  Comments can be e-mailed to downtownashtabula@outlook.com, sent through “contact us” on the ADDA website (www.downtownashtabula.com) or mailed to P.O. Box 362, Ashtabula, Ohio 44005.

The public can view display boards of the proposed plan in the Municipal Building Lobby (Parking lot entrance).
