Ashtabula County Grand Jury indictments

JEFFERSON — EDITOR’S Note: The indictment of a person by a grand jury or otherwise is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. All information is taken from Ashtabula County Common Pleas Court records.

The following people have been indicted by an Ashtabula County Grand Jury and are set for arraignment in Common Pleas Court.

• Clinton Pratt, 31, of 3208 Altman Court, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of possession of heroin following a May 15 incident in Ashtabula.

• Dejuan T. Jones, 20, of 941 W. 52nd St., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of possession of heroin following a July 11 incident in Ashtabula.

• Corey Potts, 23, of 434 W. Main Road, Conneaut, was indicted on one count of aggravated burglary following a July 18 incident in Conneaut.

• Christopher M. Canter, 29, of 1236 E. 17th St., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of possession of heroin and one count of possession of drugs following a July 19 incident in Ashtabula.

• Marcus C. Tookes, 23, of 3103 Glover Drive, Ashtabula, was indicted on four counts of trafficking in heroin, one count of trafficking in heroin with specifications for forfeiture of $271 cash and a Remington UMC pistol, and one count of trafficking in cocaine following incidents in April, July and August in Ashtabula.

• Matthew Pompei, 42, of 1026 E. 17th St., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of harassment with bodily substance and two counts of assault following an Aug. 2 incident in Ashtabula.

• Valerie J. Stroud, 42, of 3940 N. Broadway, Geneva, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs following a July 26 incident in Geneva Township.

• William J. Spencer, 18, of 781 Harbor St., Conneaut, Nicholas A. Sutley, 19, of 438 Marshall St., Conneaut, and Evan Sintic, 18, of 1020 Broad St., Conneaut, were indicted on three counts of receiving stolen property following an Aug. 3 incident in Conneaut.

• Angela M. Kesatie, 47, of 586 Main St., Conneaut, Stephan W. Welty, 36, of 669 Lakeview Ave., Conneaut, Carrie A. Eakin, 36, of 3855 Route 215 lot #4, E. Springfield, Pa., Steven M. Hatfield, Jr., 35, of 683 Maple Ave., Conneaut, Ruben Soto, 33, of 5783 Robin Circle, Ashtabula, Lisa A. Murtha, 34, of 2474 Route 193, Jefferson, and Justin L. Pitts, 33, of 12 Lake Breeze Dr., Conneaut, were indicted on three counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents between March 6 and June 22 in Ashtabula Township and Conneaut.

• Nicholas A. Sutley, 19, of 438 Marshall St., Conneaut, Evan Sintic, 18, of 1020 Broad St., Conneaut, and William J. Spencer, 18, of 781 Harbor St., Conneaut, were indicted on one count of unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance following an Aug. 3 incident in Conneaut.

• Carrie A. Eakin, 36, of 3855 Route 215 lot #4, E. Springfield, Pa., Stephan W. Welty, 36, of 669 Lakeview Ave., Conneaut, Angela Kesatie, 47, of 586 Main St., Conneaut, Steven M. Hatfield, Jr., 35, of 683 Maple Ave., Conneaut, Lisa Murtha, 34, of 2474 Route 193, Jefferson, and Justin L. Pitts, 33, of 12 Lake Breeze Dr., Conneaut, were indicted on two counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and two counts of illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents on May 27, June 1 and June 29 in Richmond Township and Conneaut.

• Joshua D. Blankenship, 23, of 500 Creek Road, Conneaut, and Phillip M. Johnson, 50, of 787 Main St., Conneaut, were indicted on one count of passing bad checks and one count of complicity to passing bad checks following a July 16 incident in Conneaut.

• Evan Sintic, 18, of 1020 Broad St., Conneaut, William J. Spencer, 18, of 781 Harbor St., Conneaut, and Nicholas A. Sutley, 19, of 438 Marshall St., Conneaut, were indicted on one count of unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance and one count of carrying concealed weapons following an Aug. 3 incident in Conneaut.

• Vincent J. Calvin, 39, of 5407 Lenox-New Lyme Road, Jefferson, was indicted on three counts of trafficking in heroin, one count of trafficking in heroin with a specification for forfeiture of several firearms, five counts of having weapons under disability and one count of possessing criminal tools following incidents in between April and July in Ashtabula.

• Kevin S. Lomax, 50, of 5667 Gardner Drive, Erie, Pa., and Brooke Yacobozzi, was indicted on one count of theft and one count of intimidation of attorney, victim or witness in criminal case following incidents in on Dec. 12, 2012, Feb. 2 and Feb. 3 in Saybrook Township.

• Justin L. Pitts, 33, of 12 Lake Breeze Dr., Conneaut, Carrie A. Eakin, 36, of 3855 Route 215 lot #4, E. Springfield, Pa., Stephan W. Welty, 36, of 669 Lakeview Ave., Conneaut, Angela Kesatie, 47, of 586 Main St., Conneaut, Steven M. Hatfield, Jr., 35, of 683 Maple Ave., Conneaut, Lisa Murtha, 34, of 2474 Route 193, Jefferson, and Ruben Soto, 33, of 5783 Robin Circle, Ashtabula, were indicted on three counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents between March and July in Ashtabula Township and Conneaut.

• Jason L. Johnson, 26, of 425 W. 52nd St., Ashtabula, and Shawn Hoplight, 22, of 306 W. 53rd St., Ashtabula, were indicted on one count of burglary following an Aug. 14 incident in Ashtabula.

• Sheldon Kolesar, 21, of 281 W. Main St., Andover, was indicted on one count of burglary, one count of vandalism and one count of possessing criminal tools following an Aug. 17 incident in Andover.

• Jason W. Lowe, 38, of 6316 Root Road, Conneaut, was indicted on one count of disrupting public service and one count of trespass in habitation when a person is present or likely to be present following an Aug. 17 incident in Monroe Township.

• Londale A. Miller, 37, of 5834 Adams Ave., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of carrying concealed weapons following a June 29 incident in Jefferson Township.

• Lisa Murtha, Justin L. Pitts, Carrie A. Eakin, Stephan W. Welty, Angela Kesatie, Steven M. Hatfield, Jr., and Ruben Soto were indicted on two counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents between May and July in Ashtabula Township and Conneaut.

• John D. Ristimaki, 26, of 143 Maple Ave., Orwell, was indicted on one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs following an Aug. 16 incident in Orwell.

• Ruben S. Soto, Stephan W. Welty, Carrie A. Eakin, Lisa Murtha, Justin L. Pitts, Angela Kesatie, and Steven M. Hatfield, Jr., were indicted on three counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents between April and July in Conneaut and Ashtabula Township.

• Kenneth C. Jameson, 61, and Michael C. Jameson, 30, both of 6044 Huntley Road, Windsor Township, were indicted on one count of felonious assault with a firearms specification following a July 27 incident in Windsor Township.

• Cody E. Nelson, 19, of 2488 Hague Road, Orwell, and Eric T. Nelson, 18, of 2467 Hague Road, Orwell, were indicted on one count of burglary following an Aug. 21 incident in Orwell.
