Annual fish sale being held until April 25

JEFFERSON — The annual Ashtabula County Soil and Water Conservation District amur/fish sale is in progress. Orders will be taken until April 15.

Fish available for purchase are as follows: 2- to 3-inch largemouth bass, 80 cents each; 2- to 4-inch Bluegill at 75 cents each; 4- to 5-inch channel catfish at 75 cents each; 1- to 2-inch fathead minnows at $6 per 100; and 10- to 12-inch triploid white amurs at $13 each.

Fish will arrive at the Ashtabula County Fairgrounds west-side parking lot on April 18 and must be picked up between 10 and 11 a.m. No deliveries can be made and the fish cannot be temporarily stored.  If you are unable to pick them up let us know the name of the individual who can.  On pickup day, bring a clean container of your own pond water. You must bring one 5-gallon bucket per 50 fish ordered.  For white amur, bring one 5-gallon bucket for every two amurs ordered.
