Grand jury indicts 28

JEFFERSON — EDITOR’S Note: The indictment of a person by a grand jury or otherwise is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. All information is taken from Ashtabula County Common Pleas Court records.

The following people have been indicted by an Ashtabula County Grand Jury and are set for arraignment in Common Pleas Court.

• Christopher J. Quinn, 37, of 5630 West Maple Ave., Geneva, Michael J. Rich, Jr., 28, of 240 Minnesota Ave., Ashtabula and Tara Mitchell, 28, of 4026 Cleveland Ave., Ashtabula, were indicted on one count of complicity to illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs following incidents on Jan. 15 in Ashtabula Township.

• Floyd Wooten IV, 33, of 5875 Woodman Ave. #21, Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of using weapons while intoxicated  following a Feb. 10 incident in Ashtabula.

• Michael Harvey, 31, of 1949 Green Road #112, Cleveland, and Darnell J. McMorris were indicted on one count of complicity to trafficking in cocaine and two counts of complicity to trafficking in a controlled substance analog following a March 23 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Joshua Szalai, 33, of 3089 Middle Road, Pierpont, was indicted on three counts of illegal manufacture of drugs and three counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugsfollowing incidents on March 18 and March 29 in Conneaut.

• Frank W. Zakrajsek, 30, of 4813 North Ridge Road E., Geneva, was indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs, one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, one count of aggravated possession of drugs and five counts of receiving stolen property following a March 26 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Morgan L. Jackson, 23, of 149 South Ridge Road W., Conneaut, was indicted on one count of felonious assault following a March 10 incident in Conneaut.

• Gary G. Prettyman, 32, of 14950 Cherokee Road, Euclid, was indicted on one count of trafficking in cocaine, one count of trafficking in heroine and one count of having weapons while under disability following an April 10 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• David Wetherbee, 24, of 1827 W. 5th St., Ashtabula, was indicted on three counts of domestic violence following an April 13 and May 7 incident in Ashtabula and a May 26 incident in Sheffield Township.

• Christopher J. Wiggins, 36, of 710 Buffalo St., Conneaut, and Anthony R. Ross, Jr., 35, of 858 Broad St., Conneaut, were indicted on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs, one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, one count of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs and one count of coomplicity to illegal assembly of chemicals for the manuracture of drugs following an April 18 inciddent in Conneaut.

• Dwight Shinkle, 22, of 2874 Liberty St., Rock Creek, and David Shinkle, 28, of Rock Creek, were indicted on one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs following an April 10 incident in Jefferson Village.

• Marcus Monroe, 22, of 169 1/2 Poplar St., Conneaut, was indicted on one count of felonious assault, one count of endangering children and one count of domestic violence following an April 16 incident in Ashtabula Township.

• Hollis S. Carden, 38, of 423 North Broadway, Geneva, April D. LaTorres, 30, of Conneaut, and Michael J. Hardin, 32, of 5251 E. Maple Ave., Geneva, were indicted on one count of aggravated arson, one count of having weapons under disability, one count of illigal manufacture of drugs, one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of aggravated possession of drugs following a March 15 incident in Geneva and an April 13 incident in Geneva-on-the-Lake.

• Jesse Campbell, 27, of 3806 North Ridge W., Ashtabula, was indicted on one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents on Sept. 28, 2012, Feb. 11, March 11 and April 10 in Geneva.

• Michael J. Hardin, 32, of 5251 E. Maple Ave., Geneva, was indicted on two counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents on Aug. 5, Sept. 3 and Sept. 26 of 2012 in Geneva and Jan. 18 and Feb. 18 in Madison Township.

• Heather N. Hayes, 25, of 6109 Bardmoor Blvd., Ashtabula, was indicted on four counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents on Aug. 12, Sept. 10, Oct. 4, Dec. 9, Dec. 24 of 2012 and Feb. 3 in Geneva following incidents on Sept. 10 and Oct. 4 of 2012 in Geneva; Oct. 17 and Oct. 29 of 2012 in Madison Township; Dec. 9 and Dec. 24 of 2012 in Geneva; Dec. 28, 2012 and Jan. 4 in Ashtabula Township; and Aug. 26, 2012 and Feb. 3 in Geneva.

• Jason C. Jamison, 39, of 574 South Ridge E., Geneva, was indicted on two counts of illegal assembly of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs  and one count of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents on Oct. 13 and Nov. 21 of 2012 in Geneva; Jan. 17 and Jan. 29 in Madison Township; and Sept. 12, 2012 and May 3 in Geneva.

• Amanda M. Lawrence, 25, of 600 Eastwood St., Geneva, was indicted on one count of illegal assembly of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs following incidents on Jan. 24, Feb. 23 and April 13 in Geneva.

• Danielle I. Markgraf, 18, of 6800 Lake Rd. W. Lot 4, Geneva, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of operating a vehicle while under the influence following incidents on Oct. 24, 2012 in Geneva.

• Jacinda Nelson, 26, of 424 Harbor St., Conneaut, Jerry L. Miller, 25, of 3111 Glover Dr., Ashtabula, and Brandon Brown, 25, of 7787 Route 45, North Bloomfield, were indicted on one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, one count of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of endangering children following incidents on Dec. 15, 2012 in Ashtabula.

• Jason M. Nagy, 28, of 275 W. Mains St. #6, Geneva, was indicted on two counts of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and one count of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs following indidents on Oct. 29 and Nov. 24 of 2012 in Geneva; Jan. 2 and Jan. 28 in Madison Township; and Oct. 30, 2012 and March 13 in Geneva.
