ASHTABULA — The Council of Ashtabula County Libraries dissolved the consortium earlier this week, agreeing on terms for distributing its remaining assets.
The consortium met Wednesday at the Harbor-Topky Library.
“While we at Ashtabula County District Libary would prefer it had not come to this, we recognize that the leadership of each library acts in what it believes to be the best interests of its patrons,” said Tom Milligan, community relations coordinator at the ACDL. “We are always seeking to enhance opportunities for learning, discovery and growth, and to find better ways of providing the residents of the county with the excellent library services they need and deserve. In that respect, nothing has changed.”
