JEFFERSON — A man charged with burning his Monroe Township home has been indicted by an Ashtabula County grand jury on aggravated arson and arson charges following a fire he allegedly set at 5404 Hilldom Road, according to Ashtabula County Common Pleas Court records.
William J. Reynolds, 47, originally was charged with felonious assault, aggravated menacing and domestic violence stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 22 prior to the blaze, which caused an estimated $80,000 to $90,000 damage according to fire and Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Department reports.
Other people indicted, according to court records, include:
n Roger D. Stewart Jr., 27, of 910 W. 33rd St., Ashtabula, for tampering with evidence and possession of drugs charges stemming from a May 3 incident in Ashtabula;
n Miguel Alsina Jr., 19, of 3204 Wilson Ave., Ashtabula, on aggravated trafficking in drugs with a forfeiture specification, and possession of heroin with a forfeiture specification;
n Terrance E. Brown, 20, of 226 W. 54th St., Ashtabula, for criminal trespassing and criminal damaging, stemming from an Aug. 14 incident in Ashtabula;
n Karen Weir, 28, of 172 Poplar St., Conneaut, for endangering children, stemming from an Aug. 8 incident in Saybrook Township;
n Samuel D. Harris, 41, of 1120 Alfred Drive, Ashtabula, on one count of felonious assault stemming from a Sept. 26 incident in Ashtabula;
n Milton Chatman, 50, of 2004 Maryland Ave., Ashtabula, on breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools, stemming from a July 24 incident in Ashtabula;
n Wesley Miller, 36, of 6395 Berkley Road, West Salem, on one count of theft and one count of receiving stolen property, stemming from an Aug. 18 incident in Harpersfield Township;
n Lyle E. Heath, 50, of 1211 Columbus Ave., Ashtabula, on one count of assaulting a peace officer, stemming from a July 23 incident in Ashtabula involving an emergency medical technician from Community Care Ambulance;
n Jesse T. Bryan, 21, of 213 Westview Drive, Jefferson, for deception to obtain a dangerous drug and illegal production of a drug document, stemming from an incident in Jefferson on July 23 or 24;
n Robert A. McMillian III, 38, of 6641 W. Lake Road, Ashtabula, for burglary, breaking and entering, and possession of criminal tools, stemming from an Aug. 17 incident in Harpersfield Township; and
n Dale E. Brown, 53, of 352 Telling Drive, Geneva, on four driving-while-impaired-related charges, including driving while impaired with a specification, meaning there have been multiple previous convictions on similar charges.
