JEFFERSON —Eight people were indicted Friday by an Ashtabula County grand jury on various felony charges including drug-related offenses, domestic violence, receiving stolen property, and theft.
The indictments were filed by the Ashtabula County Prosecutor’s Office and made public Monday by the Ashtabula County Clerk of Courts.
Arraignments are set for 9 a.m. Friday before Common Pleas Judge Ronald Vettel.
The following persons were indicted:
n Roberto Rivera, 47, of 3706 West Ave., Ashtabula, is charged with possession of drugs (heroin), a third-degree felony; and trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony.
n Michael J. Montour, 45, of 1032 Diego, Santa Fe, N.M., is charged with receiving stolen property (a motor vehicle), a fourth-degree felony; and two counts of receiving stolen property (checks), a fifth-degree felony.
n Michael Hayes, 55, of 246 State St., Struthers, is charged with one count of domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony.
n David A. Tackett, 47, of 2011 Morgan Road, Jefferson, is charged with one count of receiving stolen property, a third-degree felony.
n Joey D. Tackett, 44, of 2011 Morgan Road, Jefferson, is charged with receiving stolen property, a third-degree felony.
n Taiwan A. Brown, 33, of 5906 Runkle Ave., Ashtabula, is charged with trafficking in drugs (crack cocaine), a third-degree felony; and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.
n Michael L. Crate, 23, of 1204 W. 6th St., Ashtabula, is charged with criminal trespass, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
n Joseph M. Baldwin, 40, of 4028 Station Ave., Ashtabula, is charged with one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony.
