JEFFERSON — Eight people were indicted Friday by an Ashtabula County grand jury on various felony charges, including theft, robbery and drug related offenses.
The indictment were filed by the Ashtabula County prosecutor’s office and were made public Monday by the Ashtabula County clerk of courts.
The following persons were indicted:
n Jonathan M. Bowens, 38, of 728 W. 33rd St., Ashtabula, is charged with possession of drugs (cocaine), a fifth-degree felony.
n Michael L. Covill Jr., 26, of 3788 Middle Road., Conneaut, is charged with possession of drugs (methadone pills), a fifth-degree felony.
n Donald R. Howard, Jr., 36, of 52 Freedom St., Painesville, is charged with one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony; and one count of robbery, a second-degree felony.
n Jeannie R. Planisek, 32, of 7255 Jackson St., Mentor, is charged with one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony.
n Renata Signjar, 48, of 5400 Mechanicsville Road, Rome Township, is charged with having weapons while under a disability, a third-degree felony.
n Brian R. Fleeson, 32, of 2134 E. 44rd St., Ashtabula, is charged with having weapons while under a disability, a third-degree felony.
n Jonathan C. Rea, 22, of 2559 Barnum Road, Geneva, is charged with one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony; complicity to commit theft, a fifth-degree felony; and receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.
n Jordon Rea, 21, of 2559 Barnum Road, Geneva, is charged with theft, a fifth-degree felony; complicity to commit theft, a fifth-degree felony; and receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.
Arraignments are set for 10 a.m. Friday before Common Pleas Judge Gary Yost.
